Nowhere else can you find as many talented songwriters in such close proximity as in Franklin!  The music scene is ever-apparent all throughout this arts community, with many shows offered gratis and unplanned.  Recently artist and songwriter Jeffrey Steele hosted a benefit in memory of his son, Alex LeVasseur, showcasing legends Michael MacDonald, Billy Ray & Miley Cyrus.  But the hordes of celebrities who live here also enjoy frequent sports and lifestyle events sponsored by the Williamson County Parks Department and the Heritage Foundation among other local organizations.   The history buff is certainly at home with museums and attractions such as Carnton Plantation, the Carter House, and Fort Grainger.  Sports, concerts, history, the Harpeth River, and many miles of unique biking trails along the Natchez Trace Parkway are sure to keep you entertained.
